The deck is constructed from Treated Pine. Treated pine is made to be a deterrent to white ants, termites and rot. It was chosen also because of its close proximity to the ground, and it will be quite wet for periods in the summer, as it's next to a pool. This 57 square meter decking is enormous. The Gazebo design was slightly different with its concrete pillars with steel and timber framework and colourbond roof. The Gazebo was designed to cover a large percentage of the decking at any time of the day.
